Organized in 1920, AACC promotes the causes of its member colleges through:

  1. legislative advocacy;
  2. monitoring of national issues and trends;
  3. collection analysis and dissemination of information;
  4. representation with other educational agencies and the national media;
  5. research and publication of news and scholarly analyses.
