Research Corporation Cottrell Scholars and Cottrell College Science Awards

The program goal is to assist beginning faculty members who wish to excel at both teaching and research. Both research and teaching plans are required. Originality, the prospect for significant fundamental advances to science, and feasibility will be the main criteria for the research plan. Contributions to and success in undergraduate teaching, aspirations for development as a teacher, and the clarity of future plans will be considered in assessing the teaching plan. Guidelines and applications are available on the Web site.
