AIFS Faculty Development Grants

Colleges and universities with a minimum of six participants enrolled in an AIFS summer program are eligible to receive an institutional stipend to enable a faculty member to accompany the group as the faculty coordinator. Stipend includes round-trip air transportation, accommodations, meal plan, and time for research and study for the faculty coordinator. Program locations include the Czech Republic, England, France, Italy, Japan, Russia, and Spain. Multiple-country programs also are offered, including Eastern Europe. A teaching abroad option is available, as is assistance for enrolling the group in the summer program. Interested faculty at two- and four-year institutions of higher education are encouraged to contact the office for a program brochure. A preliminary application can be downloaded from the Web site.
